Announcement - KHK Grand Final 2007

This is to inform that KHK has got a BIG SPONSOR for the above Final. I can't disclose the name of the sponsor here but I believe that some of you have already came across of this news.

The issue is, we are getting around RM2,000 if we can make up a minimum of 4 flights in this Final.

The only condition of this sponsorship is, each of the player will need to sign up a credit card, preferably Platinum Card, its FREE for two years. You may terminate your card even before 2 years if you think you don't need it. You don't even have to pay a single sen for this card.

The date and venue of this Final is yet to determine. We will be running a poll on this issue, and hope that all the members will come out to participate on this event.

I heard that our Honorary Past Chairman, Mr. Rocky and Kenny Tan will help to get some other sponsors for KHK. If you think you can contribute to this event, by all means come forward, we need your contribution.

Some New Ideas!

What is the normal pattern of playing golf? You always T-Off with a driver, then follow by long/medium irons and finally attack the green with s/a/pitcher right? That's the normal pattern, playing from the longer club to the shorter one.

Have you ever think of the abnormal pattern, ie, start with the shorter club and follow by the longer one before the ball reaches green?

Something interesting right?

Our honorary Past Chairman, Mr. Rocky Yeong is the only player who have the above pattern while playing golf. He can start off with an iron at tee box and then, he uses driver for his second shot.

Anybody would like to try out this if we were to organize a competition like this?

13 Kenny Tan 19 102 24 0
14 Barry Ng 8 95 22 0

Remarks:
Mr. Choy is not the happiest man in KHK even though he became the champion in today's game. The reason is, his handicap has been reduced by 3 strokes on his next game, but his prize for the day is only RM15.00. But on the positive side of the story, he should be proud of his achievement today with a strong field like Stanley, Barry, Daniel IT and others... Bravo Mr. Choy!!!

Stanley, a trully 10 handicaper, has achieved an astonishing round of 79, 3 under par. We are proud of his result. Also, another player with a below par score is Yu TJ. He scored 85 with a handicap 17.

We hope that in future game, all the winners is winning by under par score and not with 36 points or even below that mark.

Not forgetting to mention, 2 new members from Klang group have joined us in this game. A very warm welcome to Mr. Tan Lian Soon &Mr. New SY. Hopefully KHK will keep going ahead and to have more new members to join in the future.

CHEERS!

>One of the main reasons why in recent years the Singapore Government has
>always ensured that their Miss Universe representative were of tertiary
level
>education or higher was because of the following incident which occurred not too many
>years
ago. It is the final round of the Miss Universe Pageant and the 3 finalists, Miss USA,
>Miss Malaysia and Miss Singapore are being asked ? simple questions:
>
>MC: The first question is name me an electrical appliance starting with "L"
>
>Miss USA: Lamp
>Miss Malaysia: Light bulb
>Miss Singapore: LADIO
>Judge: No, no, Radio does not start with the letter "L"
>

>with
>the letter "L"
>Miss USA: Lion
>Miss Malaysia: Leopard

>Miss USA: Lexus
>Miss Malaysia: Lamborghini
>Miss Singapore: Lolls-Loyce
>Judge: Oh my God!
>
>MC: I am going to give you one last chance! Name me a fruit starting with the
>letter "L"
>Miss USA: Lemon
>Miss Malaysia: Lychee
>Miss Singapore, with full of confidence, smiles and says: LIEWLIAN!!
>
>This is not the end of the story, the Judge consulted the board of judges
>to determine if Miss Singapore should really be disqualified ; and they decided that since Miss
>Singapore was having so many problems with the letter "L", they decided to give her another chance.
>
>Judge: OK, the final question is : Name me a human anatomy starting with
>the letter "L"
>Miss USA: Lung (applause)
